- This 1940’s dress was worn by the character Eva Peron portrayed by actress Madonna in the 1996 motion picture “Evita”
- The cream wool crepe knee length sheath dress has a keyhole neckline outlined with heavy silver beading, a swirl patterned beaded bodice with small gold sequin flowers, and a straight skirt with gathered drape on the left hip with additional beading detail, and has the original sewn in production label that reads “Madonna”
- The actress wore the outfit onscreen during the musical number “Rainbow Tour” while Eva is in Rome as part of her European tour, and is referred to as a whore
