Description
  • This stunning Atelier Versace couture gown is from the personal wardrobe of oscar-winning actress Goldie Hawn
  • It was donated by Goldie to help the continued and vital work in Sri Lanka following the Tsunami Disaster two years ago
  • The proceeds of this sale went directly to a charity set up by Mark Shand - 'Re-building Sri Lanka'
  • The gown was modelled by Sara Gilmour (daughter of Roger Gilmour of Pink Floyd fame) in the August 2006 edition of Hello (see accompanying image)
  • This stunning piece comes with provenance, hand-written by Goldie herself on a Cosmic Entertainment complimentary slip (a company Goldie Hawn founded with Kurt Russell in 2003)
  • As an amazing couture creation by Atelier Versace, it is full length and has a beautifully fitted and gently boned bodice and is embellished with thousands of hand sewn beads and crystals
  • The straps have two rows of handsewn yellow Swarovski crystals
  • It falls to the ground with three layers of more exquisite beading and crystals
  • It also comes with a beautifully generous silk chiffon wrap which has a delicate edge, also trimmed in Swarovski crystals to match the main piece
  • If you were to have Versace create this for you today - it would cost in excess of $20,000
  • It is a size 8 UK
  • The measurements are as follows: Bust - up to 34"; Waist 26"; Length - 52"
